The annual San Francisco Decorator Showcase went virtual for this years installment, offering video walk-through tours, 3D interactive tours, and designer interviews. Principal Bedroom with a View, K Interiors

Evoking a feeling of relaxed glamour, the principal bedroom was designed to mirror the surroundings with a soft palette of greys, much like the fog and the waves that roll in and out of the on-looking beach. The buttercream velvet and antique mirror make up a floor to ceiling headboard reflecting the Golden Gate Bridge.

The Gallery Lounge, Jeffrey Neve Interior Design

The Judith Rothschild painting above the console provides a striking focal point against the white gallery walls. Its colors draw you in and complement the rich greens of the adjoining bathroom.

Stairwell and Landing: Botanicae, DZINE

One of Showcase favorite’s DZINE Gallery represented San Francisco-based artists Elina Frumerman working in collaboration with SF Botanical Library on the installation titled “Botanicae”. The photographs of plants that can be found throughout the city are framed in natural walnut set against a black wall transforming a dramatic spiral stairwell and the landing into an art gallery that immerses the viewer within a modern botanical folio.

The Liquid Lounge, Artistic Design for Living

Interactive and mind provoking, The Liquid Lounge was tastefully designed by Tineke Triggs to serve as an escape for a young couple. This fun space is Inspired by the Memphis movement, high fashion, iconic architects and postmodernists of the 1960s. Adjacent to the Liquid Lounge, Triggs also designed a mezcal bar titled “Cala Mezcal.”

Random Nature Meets Balanced Geometry, Applegate Tran Interiors

Influenced by the natural and weathered beauty of the Northern California coast, Applegate Tran Interiors combines a relaxed California feel with cosmopolitan flair. The room’s simple geometric shapes contradict the ideal proportions of established geometry.

Luxe Master Bath, FDG Design Group

Sausalito-based FDG Design Group showcased a master bathroom that embodies the spa experience and creates a luxury oasis at home. Bespoke African Marble, luxury finishes, and accessories combined with wood elements designed by the local craftsman create a perfectly balanced space.

Mediterranean Seacliff Kitchen, Regan Baker Design

Traditional influences and contemporary design elements blend together in Regan Baker’s modern Mediterranean-style kitchen. Earthy color palette is complemented by marble and natural brass finishes evoking a feeling of storied longevity and timeless elegance.

The Listening Room, Chad Dorsey

Calm and peaceful best describes Chad Dorsey’s design of the listening room, a space for the owner to listen, converse, and reflect. A relaxed and luxurious feel is achieved by carefully curated artwork and furniture from the local galleries and the Chad Dorsey Collection. A dramatic centerpiece, the Strike fireplace in Marone Marble is perfectly complemented by the Piet Boon lounge chair, custom pendant lights, and hand-painted ceiling by Porter Teleo.
